PG_13

It all started with three girls and six strings resulting to what is today the art collective, PG13. Jozi unsigned described them as an ‘intoxicating cocktail of poetry infused mbaqanga served with a side of saucy jazz, seamlessly enchanting willing audiences to dance and leaving many wanting more.it is this mixture that led them to the first ever Afropunk battle of the bands Johannesburg finals. TOGETHER they ASPIRE to tell African tales through Song and Dance done by the marriage of evocative poetry and ancestral awakening vocals that resonate deeply with the ethnicity of radical African Sounds. They are a race and gender blended band looking to spark a new narrative.
