Sun Xa Experiment is a spiritual avant-garde out-of-the-box ensemble from Gauteng and KwaZulu Natal formed in 2014. They are a six-piece live music band with a spiritual ancestral sound that conveys stories about who we are as a global society, regardless of race, colour, or nation. With their music written in isiZulu, Sesotho and English, their presence on stage is felt through their performance that leaves you in healing mode. Their sound, which they see as medicinal “Umculo Umuthi”, is a six-track journey through an hour set. The band has graced numerous South African festivals including Oppikoppi, Smoking Dragon and Endless Daze, to mention a few.
